Aurora and Noctilucent clouds : 4th July
The X1 solar flare blasted by Sun hit earth on 3rd July and it irrupted magnificent aurora display. Normally Aurora are bit muted from city area but this time I tried to shoot from city itself.
Airdrie city has many small small manmade lakes and canals, there is one just 3-4min of walking distance from my home called as "Paterson Pond", these are pics taken looking at north, there is lot of new construction going on around the lake but still quite good for views as it offers much larger clear area.
Me and Aneesh we went to lake at around 12:15am, I setup Canon 7D with wide angle lens and took series of photos mostly 15sec exposure.
